f/1.2 is among the brightest apertures you can buy. It lets in more light than f/1.8 or f/2.8, so you can keep shooting in dim rooms, and it throws the background out of focus faster — the look people want for portraits, weddings, and tight subject isolation.
Our f/1.2 collection currently features the OM SYSTEM 45mm Pro for Micro Four Thirds, a professional portrait prime (90mm equivalent) with that f/1.2 maximum aperture, weather-sealed build, and the rendering this line is known for. On MFT, 45mm is a short-tele people lens: head-and-shoulders, detail, and available-light events without needing a huge full-frame body.
